Rumors around my school

On the Friday before winter break there was a rumor around my school about a shooting. No one came to school this day because obviously they were scared that they were gonna get shot. I did not come to school just because I have a paranoid father and mother. I do not know what happened to the girl that made up that stupid rumor but I hope she got what she deserved. I do not wish anything bad against her but she did freak thousands of people out. I heard that on that Friday less than half of the school came to class. Honestly I think I would not be surprised. I know some people did not come for saftey issues but I know others just did not come because they did not want to come to school.
